Education and Training Opportunities
​Wavestage welcomes adults interested in performing in musicals, operas and choral music concerts. Our performances provide an excellent opportunity for all backgrounds and levels of experience and ability. We will help you develop your vocal talents and dramatic skills. Participants will learn voice techniques to help produce a stronger, healthier sound, manage stage fright, learn how to define character and character-based singing. Adults have opportunities in both solo and ensemble singing in all our main stage productions and choral concerts.
GRADES 7-12

Stagedoor is a professional music theatre training program for teens. This weekly skill-based program is designed to enable artists to explore the musical theatre world as they receive training in a wide variety of disciplines, including: vocal production, acting a song, proper breathing technique, movement, character development, ensemble acting, and body movement. The program will also address audition methods and preparation skills for university college programs. Classes culminate in participation in mainstage adult productions

​*Any high school aged performer auditioning for mainstage adult productions must be enrolled in the Stagedoor program.
GRADES 1-7

Showbiz is a weekly class in acting, stagecraft, and voice technique. Wavestage is deeply rooted in the belief that professional standards of excellence can be applied to young artists. Showbiz performers are given the freedom to soar, by stressing professional discipline, artistic excellence and a commitment to artistic risk. Participants will learn ways to get over stage fright and build self-confidence, as well as learn to work in a team. Classes culminate in participation in mainstage adult productions.

Mondays 6:30-7:25PM
Wavestage offers foundational classes for the beginning actor as well as more advanced classes for those embarking on a professional career. Check back each month for upcoming workshops. Veteran actors understand that their skills need constant refreshing, in order to rise to any given challenge. We welcome both beginners and veterans. We will be offering audition classes, acting classes and voice projection classes.
